PROTOTYPE TERMS
Use the demo. Keep real money out.
These terms govern the current Smelt research prototype. By using the site, you agree to use it only as a fictional concept test.

Smelt is not currently a bank, card issuer, money transmitter, gift-card exchange or financial-services provider. No real conversion, payout or universal balance is offered.
Project identity
Smelt is a pre-revenue product concept and asset package presented at smelt.website. It is not represented as an incorporated financial company. The working contact is acquisition@smelt.website.
Demo-only use
All merchant names, card balances, quotes, animations and receipts in the demo are fictional examples. They are not offers, guarantees, account balances or promises of future rates.
Your responsibilities
- Do not submit real card numbers, PINs, bank details, passwords, government identifiers or other sensitive financial information.
- Do not interfere with the site, automate abusive submissions, attempt unauthorized access or use the prototype for illegal activity.
- Only submit information you have the right to provide.
No financial relationship
Using the demo or joining the waitlist does not create a customer, banking, fiduciary, investment or cardholder relationship. Future functionality would depend on written partner arrangements, legal review and applicable regulatory approvals.
Intellectual property
The Smelt name, logo, interface, copy and original prototype materials are protected to the extent allowed by law. Merchant names appearing in fictional examples belong to their respective owners and do not imply endorsement or partnership.
Availability and changes
The prototype may change, pause or end without notice. We may remove submissions that are abusive, unsafe or unrelated to product research. We do not promise that every proposed feature will launch.
Disclaimers and liability
The prototype is provided “as is” for research. To the extent permitted by law, Smelt disclaims warranties and is not responsible for decisions made based on fictional balances, illustrative rates or roadmap statements. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
Purchases and refunds
The prototype has no checkout and charges no consumer fees. The separate sale listing is an invitation to discuss an asset purchase, not an automatic purchase offer. Any sale is subject to a written agreement, verified authority and agreed payment or escrow terms. See the Refund Policy.
